【Overview】

Faggiolati series sodium hypochlorite generator, medium and large scale electrolytic chlorine production system, has the characteristics of low salt consumption, low power consumption, high current efficiency, high stability of product solution and stable operation of equipment. Modular design has stronger adaptability to the site, flexible and reliable configuration scheme, and can meet the special requirements of customers.

Sodium hypochlorite is hydrolyzed to hypochlorite, and hypochlorite is further decomposed to form new ecological oxygen, which is highly oxidized. Therefore, the disinfection mechanism of sodium hypochlorite includes: 

(1) oxidation of sodium hypochlorite: hypochlorite produced by hydrolysis of sodium hypochlorite can not only react with cell wall, but also easily intrude into cells to oxidize with proteins or destroy their phosphate dehydrogenase because of its small molecule and no charge, resulting in the death of bacteria due to the disorder of sugar metabolism.

(2) The role of new eco-oxygen: the new eco-oxygen produced by decomposition of hypochlorite oxidizes the protein of bacteria. 

(3) Chlorination: Chlorine in sodium hypochlorite solution and bacterial protein chlorinate. 

Working Principle of Electrolytic Sodium Hypochlorite: 

①Anodic reaction: 2C1--2e→ Cl2 
②Cathodic reaction: 2H++2e → H2 ↑ 

③Hydrolysis reaction:Cl2+H2O → HClO+ HCl 
④Total reaction:NaC1+ H2O+ (2F) = NaC1O+ H2 ↑
